🧀 Gloves, grabbers, bags, and refreshments provided.

❀️ Love Birch Bay? Pack It In. Pack It Out.

Together, we can make every year’s beach cleanup a little smaller.

Thank you to our cleanup partners:

How You Can Help?

βœ… Pack out everything you pack in.

Don’t leave behind fireworks debris, food containers, coolers, chairs or other items. If you brought it to the beach, please take it home with you.

Β

Β

βœ… Leave the beach better than you found it.

A few extra minutes of cleanup makes a big difference for wildlife, marine life, and the next family visiting Birch Bay.

Β

Β

βœ… Dispose of fireworks safely.

Do not leave spent fireworks on the beach or in the water. Make sure all fireworks have completely burned out and are cool to the touch before handling them. If you cannot safely transport cooled fireworks debris, bag it up and leave it at the fog line along the roadway where cleanup crews can safely access it.

Protect the Berm

🌿 Protect Our Shoreline

The fenced areas along the berm are there to protect native coastal plants. These plants:

  • Help prevent erosion

  • Protect the shoreline during storms

  • Provide habitat for birds and other wildlife

  • keep our beaches healthy of future generations

Please stay out of the fenced areas and never use them as a place to leave trash, fireworks, or personal belongings.

Β

🌿 Before You Leave

Before heading home, remember to pick up all trash and firework debris, check for bottle caps, food wrappers and plastic packaging. Take home chairs, tents, toys and coolers. Respect fenced restoration areas & leave Birch Bay as beautiful as you found it.
