Please note: We will have a limited number of FREE one-time use kites. We will have paper kites to make and decorate and volunteers to help your child craft a kite for FREE.
This year we will have more opportunities available to purchase kites you can use again and again at a reasonable price.
Parking: Discover Passes are $10/day or $30/year. Discover Passes can be checked out at Whatcom County Library System Locations

Local Artist Doug Parent is Back with another painting lesson for children! Come and “Paint with Doug” at Kite Fest 2024! A $10 Registration Fee is required to hold your spot. Limited to only 20 painters – Don’t delay hold your spot today!

The Birch Bay Poker Runs have become a highlight of the summer. This fun family-friendly non-gambling activity is fun for all ages. Our events don’t happen without the dedication and support of our Birch Bay Volunteers! Tasks are varied and broken up in 3 hour chunks. Stay for a bit, or stay all day! We need helpers to direct attendees, hand out kites, help kids craft kites, empty garbage cans, take photos and so much more!
