What is National Night Out?
National Night Out focuses on community and raising awareness through camaraderie. By improving area relationships, we aim to make our neighborhoods safer by increasing connections between those who serve and our community.
Tuesday, August 6th, 2024 from 5 PM – 7 PM
National Night Out returns to the Birch Bay Beach located at 7930 Birch Bay Drive
Enjoy fun photo opportunities, explore agency equipment, learn and ask questions, and meet local first responders!
Onsite we will have representatives and equipment from the following agencies for children to explore and learn about with their families.
- Department of Fish and Wildlife
- Border Patrol – Blaine Sector
- Washington State Patrol
- Homeland Security Investigations
- Blaine Police Officers
- Washington State Parks
- Whatcom County Comms
- Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office
- North Whatcom Fire & Rescue
- Nooksack Tribal Police
- Phillips 66 – Ferndale Refinery
- and more to come!
Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office will provide hot dogs to the first 300 people from support from Hemplers & the Foundation.
