The Birch Bay crabbing season is open. The Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife dates for the North # 3 – Gulf of Georgia crab fishing season are August 17,2017 through September 30, 2017.
Crab may be harvested Thursdays through Mondays each week (Tuesdays and Wednesdays are closed) through September 30th, 2017.
Crabbers fishing from boats may only set and pull gear from one hour before official sunrise to one hour after official sunset on open days.
